IPD Group Limited is an ASX listed leading manufacturer and distributor of a wide variety of electrical switchgear, industrial control, cable accessories, enclosures, lighting and energy management for the Australian Industry.


The distribution of products for quality global electrical infrastructure brands such as ABB, Elsteel, Emerson and Red Lion; and the provision of services, including installation and commissioning, calibration and testing, maintenance and repairs and refurbishment


The role will see you reporting to the National Internal Sales Supervisor.


We are looking to fill this role in three state locations:


  • Keysborough – Victoria
  • Wetherill Park – NSW
  • Eagle Farm - Queensland

The Role


  • To process real time order entry, including sales orders, primarily credit notes, RMAs, on-consignments etc.
  • Follow up customer’s outstanding RMA and maintenance integrity of RMA Pronto Data.
  • EDI order screening and processing.
  • To handle in a timely manner daily sales enquiries, including price and availability.
  • To provide quality customer assistance by making outbound calls to Customers.
  • To manage back orders of various types.


About you


To be considered for this great opportunity it is essential that you have recent relevant reporting experience.


  • Previous experience in Customer Service.
  • A strong understanding of phone-based Customer Service skills.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of competency in the management of Customer Service Phone KPI's.
  • Knowledge in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Proven communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management and planning skill.
